Job Description:
Successful candidates will conduct cutting-edge research on sustainability and social justice in technology design, working within the Just Sustainability Design Lab led by Prof. Christoph Becker. The lab engages in transdisciplinary research to address ecological, political, and societal challenges by examining the values, politics, and cognitive processes in technology design. Students will participate in collaborative design projects, with opportunities to publish in top venues such as CSCW, COMPASS, PDC, and ICSE. This PhD program offers personalized supervision, mentoring by globally recognized faculty, and full funding for both international and Canadian students.
