Postdoctoral Research Associate in Quantum Information and Many-body Physics

Research Area: Quantum Information and Many-body Physics

Location: Strand Campus, King’s College London

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics or closely related fields before the beginning of the position.
  • Expertise in analytical methods in many-body physics.
  • Knowledge of numerical methods in many-body physics.
  • Ability to clearly communicate scientific results.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Expertise in tensor-network methods.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be involved in research focusing on quantum information in many-body systems. The position requires experience in analytical approaches to many-body systems and quantum information, and/or a strong track record in numerical physics, particularly in tensor network methods. This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) offered on a fixed-term contract for two years.
