Eligibility/Qualification
- Must Have:
- PhD in molecular biology or a related field
- Experience in genomics experiments and/or bioinformatics analysis
- Desirable:
- Experience with single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, HiC, or DamID
- Experience in bioinformatics analysis of short reads
- Proven publication record
- Advantageous:
- Background in neurobiology and mouse genetics
- Experience in machine learning
Job Description
- Contribute to a project on the epigenetic and transcriptional basis of neuroplasticity under the mentorship of Group Leader Taro Kitazawa.
- Utilize cutting-edge genomics technologies including but not limited to bulk and single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, HiC, and DamID.
- Engage in bioinformatics analysis of genomic data.
- Collaborate closely with lab members working on in vivo mouse circuits, electrophysiology, and behavioral analyses.
- Opportunity to develop skills in grant writing, networking, and scientific communication, with chances to present at international conferences.
- Participate in daily lab management, project meetings, department seminars, and institute retreats within a dynamic international team.
