Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Master’s of Science degree (or equivalent)
    • Previous lab and programming experience
    • Strong writing skills
    • Background in exercise science, kinesiology, engineering, computer science, or related fields
  • Open to Applicants With:
    • Bachelor’s of Science (or equivalent) if they have previous biomechanics research experience and strong analytical skills

Job Description

The successful candidate will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Teaching undergraduate biomechanics lab sections
  • Training undergraduate lab assistants
  • Conducting data collection using advanced biomechanics equipment such as motion capture and force platforms
  • Engaging in human subjects research within the lab’s focus
  • Analyzing data using software tools including Visual3D, MATLAB, Python, and R
  • Preparing scientific manuscripts for publication
