About- MTRDC, a premier DRDO laboratory working on microwave tubes and power modules for radar, electronic warfare, and communication systems, is inviting Indian nationals for walk-in interviews for JRF and RA positions. These roles involve research in vacuum electronic devices spanning material science, ultrahigh vacuum, physical electronics, microwave engineering, electromagnetics, particle-in-cell modeling, and CAD-based simulation.
Research/Job Area-

Material Science, Metallurgy, Physical Electronics, Ultrahigh Vacuum, Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetics, Particle-in-Cell Simulation, CAD/CAE tools.

Eligibility/Qualification–
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Posts: One (may vary)
Qualifications:
Any one of the following:
- B.Tech in Material Science or Metallurgy (First Division) with valid GATE/NET
- M.E./M.Tech in Material Science or Metallurgy (First Division at both UG & PG)
- M.Sc. in Material Science or Metallurgy (First Division) with valid GATE/NET
Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years (relaxation: SC/ST/PH – 5 years; OBC – 3 years)
2. Research Associate (RA)
Posts: One (may vary)
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Material Science/Metallurgy
OR - M.Tech in Material Science/Metallurgy with 3 years research/teaching/design experience and at least one SCI-indexed publication
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years (relaxation as per rules)
