Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Minimum average grade of 7.5/10 or higher in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or Agronomy.
  • Experience in pest control, spatial analysis, and familiarity with machine learning or programming is advantageous.

Job Description:
The selected PhD student will work in a collaborative research setting focused on advancing sustainable practices in intensive agricultural environments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting fieldwork, including pest sampling in greenhouses and participatory social surveys.
  • Performing data processing and Bayesian analysis.
  • Coordinating project activities such as workshops and demonstration sessions.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to European climate adaptation goals and gain valuable interdisciplinary experience.

Employment Type and Schedule:
Three-year, full-time contract, starting within the first six months of 2025.
