Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Assess the impact of inter-individual variability in gut microbiota on cognitive performance in honey bees under semi-natural conditions.
- Conduct the following activities:
- Generation of gnotobiotic bees
- Cognitive assays
- Analyses of gut microbiota composition (using qPCR and sequencing)
- Data analyses and statistics
- Communicate research findings through publications and conferences
- Co-supervise student researchers
