Eligibility/Qualification
- A doctoral degree in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Essential experience in working with glove boxes, thin-film deposition, and fabrication and characterization of optoelectronic devices (LEDs, solar cells, transistors, etc.).
- Desirable experience with solution-processed semiconductors including metal halide perovskites, colloidal nanocrystals, or organic semiconductors.
- Strong understanding of optoelectronic device physics.
- Experience in programming and data visualization using Python is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; willingness to collaborate with international partners.
Job Description
- Set up a pipeline for the fabrication of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) using spin-coating and thermal evaporation processes under inert atmosphere.
- Fabricate and test LEDs based on novel emitter materials, developing models for device operation mechanisms.
- Act as the device manager for an angle-dependent photo-/electroluminescence setup.
- Collaborate closely with team members focused on the synthesis of novel semiconductors and the study of their photophysical properties.
- Actively participate in the group’s outreach projects and activities.
