Scholarship Description
The Climate Resilient Cities Lab at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering is seeking highly motivated PhD candidates to contribute to impactful research on advancing urban climate resilience. Students will explore how urban environments can better adapt to climate extremes, with an emphasis on innovative design solutions and sustainable growth for cities. Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (with relevant experience) in Engineering, Applied Math/Physics, Computer Science, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, or related fields.
- Demonstrated interest in urban resilience, climate adaptation, and sustainable development.
- Proficiency in scientific writing and communication.
- Experience in data analysis, modeling, or remote sensing is advantageous.
