PhD Position in AI for Electromagnetic Noise: Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) invites applications for a PhD position focused on integrating AI into the design and modeling of electromagnetic noise footprint (EMNF) in cables, particularly in medical technology (MedTech) applications. Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Investigate the interaction of cables with their environment using AI tools.
  • Analyze electromagnetic noise footprints derived from standalone measurements.
  • Collaborate with industry partners, including Safran and CNRS, and partake in a secondment at these organizations.
  • Engage in teaching tasks and benefit from high-quality training programs designed to foster professional and personal growth.

Eligibility/Qualification

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold or expect to hold an MSc degree by the end of 2025 in electrical engineering or a relevant field.
  • Exhibit theoretical and applied knowledge or a keen interest in Machine Learning, data-driven modeling, and electrical engineering principles, particularly electromagnetism.
  • Demonstrate strong communicative skills and the ability to function effectively in a research team.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).
