Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of research experience in Solid-State Physics/Chemistry and Quantum Chemistry, preferably in polymer science.
- Proficient in atomistic simulation methods (molecular dynamics and/or Monte Carlo).
- Experience with interatomic potentials for simulations; proficiency in Python, Fortran, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with density functional theory methods and basic knowledge of machine learning and Bayesian analysis.
- Strong motivation, independence, and teamwork capabilities.
- High proficiency in English.
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Researcher will:
- Apply advanced computational techniques, integrating interatomic potentials with molecular dynamics simulations.
- Investigate solvation structures and ionic transport properties influenced by various experimental parameters (temperature, pH).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising theorists and experimentalists from condensed matter, electrochemistry, and materials sciences.
