University Assistant (Pre-Doc) / PhD Student: The Center for Biological Sciences at the Veterinary University of Vienna is seeking a motivated PhD student to develop a research project in the field of intercellular crosstalk during the development of intestinal tumors. The project will investigate the epithelial-fibroblast crosstalk using organoids, single-cell RNA sequencing, ATAC-sequencing, CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome engineering, and high-resolution imaging. The goal is to characterize changes in tumor-adjacent fibroblasts during epithelial transformation using a multidisciplinary approach.
