Doctoral Fellow in Biomedical Engineering: Ghent University is inviting applications for two PhD student positions in the Medical Image and Signal Processing (MEDISIP) research group within the Institute of Biomedical Technology (IBiTech). This opportunity focuses on developing an AI-driven pipeline for image enhancement in medical imaging.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science Engineering) or Master of Science in Physics or Informatics.
  • Strong background in medical imaging and image processing.
  • Programming experience in MATLAB, Python, and/or C++.
  • Experience with Keras or PyTorch is a plus.
  • Candidates in the final stages of their Master’s degree are also welcome to apply.
