Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biomedicine, with a focus on organic synthesis or medicinal chemistry
- Advanced proficiency in English
Job Description:
- Synthesize drug candidate molecules using structure-activity relationships and structural information of available biological targets
- Analyze spectroscopic and biological data related to the syntheses to be carried out in the laboratory
- Maintain an up-to-date electronic laboratory notebook documenting all experimental activities in the organic synthesis laboratory
- Assist in monitoring the consumption and replenishment of laboratory consumables
- Coordinate the submission of samples for spectroscopic characterization and the delivery of samples to national and international suppliers for biological assays
