The successful candidate will work on developing innovative methods and theories at the interface of genetics, archaeology, and linguistics to illuminate various aspects of human history over the past 10,000 years.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctoral degree in population genetics, bioinformatics, archaeogenetics, or a related field obtained within the last 3 years
- Proven experience in working with computer-based analysis methods and large databases
- Demonstrated independence and high research quality through publications
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
