The research is conducted in collaboration with industry partner Kongsberg Satellite Services, addressing applications in environmental and maritime surveillance.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Strong expertise in machine learning and programming skills.
- Previous experience in applied machine learning is beneficial.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Norwegian or a Scandinavian language is a plus.
Description
The PhD fellow is expected to:
- Participate in organized research training and complete the thesis during employment.
- Write publishable research papers and present findings at international conferences.
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams and achieve collectively defined research goals.
- Ability to obtain security clearance for accessing sensitive information is necessary.
