Job Description:
The Research Associate will be responsible for:
- Research and Scholarship:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and translate novel implantable devices.
- Lead technology validation in rodent models, including performing surgeries for implant placement and acquiring and analyzing electrophysiology data.
- Document research findings for presentation and publication.
- Keep abreast of developments in the field.
- Teaching and Learning Support:
- Assist in supervising undergraduate and graduate projects related to Neurotechnology.
- Liaison and Networking:
- Build internal and external contacts to facilitate information exchange and future collaborations.
- Planning and Organizing:
- Plan and manage own research activities in coordination with others.
- Contribute to the planning of joint research projects led by the Principal Investigator.
- Assist in preparing reports for funding bodies.
