ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship: The ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship program is designed to support students from developing countries to pursue doctoral degrees in China. Eligibility/Qualification
- Must be a national of an eligible developing country.
- Must hold a MSc degree.
- Age limit: Born on or after January 1, 1990.
- Proficient in English or Chinese.
- Must meet the admission criteria for the international students of USTC/UCAS.
- Should not hold Chinese citizenship and must not be currently pursuing a PhD in China.
Description
The ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship provides comprehensive support for up to 40 PhD students from developing countries to study in China. Awardees will receive tuition waivers, a monthly stipend ranging from 6,000 to 7,000 CNY (depending on qualification test results), health insurance, an application fee waiver, and travel allowances. All candidates will participate in mandatory training in Chinese language and culture alongside their academic pursuits.

- Applications will open on October 21, 2024.
- File and submit applications through the USTC/UCAS admission system.
- Choose the “CAS-ANSO Scholarship” and check the box for the ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship.
