Research Area

The research project will utilize multi-omics approaches to understand neuroinflammatory responses in the context of Alzheimer’s disease. The successful applicant will engage in both fundamental and applied research, merging neuropathological analysis with advanced proteomic techniques.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • A Master’s degree aligned with EU standards.
  • Proven experience in techniques such as immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and biochemical analysis (e.g., Western blotting, mass spectrometry).
  • Basic proficiency in bioinformatics (R or Python).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description

  • Conduct immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence stainings on human brain samples.
  • Perform biochemical analyses, including but not limited to Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, and mass spectrometry.
  • Supervise lab rotation and Master’s students.
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences.
