PULSE Postdoctoral Fellows: The PULSE program at SciLifeLab is seeking outstanding candidates for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow. This initiative offers a unique opportunity to engage in advanced research training within the fields of molecular life sciences, either on an academic or entrepreneurial track. A total of 48 postdocs will be recruited, providing candidates with a platform to foster collaborations and develop leadership skills.

Eligibility/Qualification
- Candidates must have a doctoral degree awarded no more than 3 years prior to the application deadline (with exemptions for time spent on compulsory national service, medical leaves, parenting leaves, etc.).
- Applicants must comply with the MSCA mobility rule, meaning they cannot have resided or carried out their main activity in Sweden for over 12 months during the 3 years preceding the call deadline.
- Candidates must not be permanent employees in the lab of the main PULSE Supervisor during the application or evaluation process.
Job Description
The PULSE Postdoctoral Fellow position involves:
- Conducting independent research aligned with the applicant’s project proposal in molecular life sciences.
- Collaborating with distinguished SciLifeLab Group Leaders and participating in secondments to foster interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaborations.
- Designing individual projects tailored to either an academic or entrepreneurial track.
- Engaging in training and skill-building activities to prepare for future leadership roles in scientific research.

- A cover letter (1 page) detailing motivation and expected benefits.
- A research proposal (max. 10 pages) for the selected track.
- An ethics self-assessment (if necessary).
- Project alignment with MSCA Green Charter (up to 1 page).
- Abstract (0.5 page) with keywords.
- Two reference letters (1 page each).
- Curriculum vitae in the Europass format (max. 5 pages).
- Name and Letter of Commitment from a PULSE PI as main host.
- Suggestions for secondments or research visits.
