Eligibility/Qualifications
Requirement | Details |

Education | Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanics, or similar |
Knowledge | Strong foundation in solid mechanics, finite element method, and Multiphysics theories |
Experience | Background in multiscale modeling and design of multifunctional materials, experience with finite element software (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS) preferred |
Skills | Experience in conducting mechanical experiments and using 3D printers, strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written) |
Supervision | Ability to supervise Ph.D., Master, and Bachelor students |
Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting technical, dissemination, and management activities related to the CoDeMeta project
- Supervising graduate students working on similar scientific topics
- Publishing work in high-impact scientific journals
- Assisting in teaching activities and engaging in funding applications
- Developing an advanced computational design platform for metamaterials with applications in lightweight and multifunctional engineering components
