The Hargrove Lab at the University of Toronto is looking for 1-2 postdoctoral researchers to explore RNA as a therapeutic target, specifically focusing on RNA viruses, long noncoding RNAs, and alternatively spliced mRNAs impacting cancer progression.

Eligibility/QualificationCandidates with backgrounds in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry, and/or RNA biochemistry/molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Experience in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students is a plus.
Job Description– Conduct research on RNA molecular recognition and develop small molecule chemical probes and drug candidates.
– Collaborate with colleagues from diverse chemical and biological backgrounds.
– Direct mentorship from Professor Amanda Hargrove.
– Participate in interdisciplinary training within a rapidly expanding field.
