Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Essential criteria include:
  1. Adequate specialist knowledge in the discipline and relevant research methods.
  2. Proven skills in relevant research.
  3. Experience utilizing established research techniques.
  4. Previous contributions to research projects.
  • Desirable criteria:
  1. Experience in one of the specific research areas mentioned.
  2. Experience in research supervision.

Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting PhD award will also be considered.

Job Description

The successful candidate will engage in an EPSRC-funded research project under the direction of Faculty member Hubie Chen. Responsibilities will include conducting advanced research in the specified areas, contributing to project deliverables, collaborating with international partners, and participating in dissemination activities. The role offers flexible working conditions and travel funding opportunities for engagement with partners in China, France, and Germany.
