Description
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of Dr. Sebastian De Haro and Dr. Erik Verlinde and will have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers from other institutions. The research involves investigating the philosophical and theoretical aspects of how time and the laws of gravitation emerge within quantum cosmology. Candidates are expected to contribute to the educational mission of the institute, including supervising undergraduate research projects and working as teaching assistants.
The PhD position offers:
- A temporary contract for 38 hours per week for up to four years, subject to satisfactory evaluations.
- A competitive gross monthly salary ranging from €2,901 to €3,707, which does not include holiday and year-end allowances.
