Description

As a PhD candidate, you will utilize advanced techniques like glycan and tissue arrays, and microscopy to investigate how viruses such as Influenza, Noro, and Enteroviruses exploit glycans for cell infection. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to groundbreaking research on species-specific viral binding and tissue specificity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on virus-glycan interactions using cutting-edge tools.
  • Collaborate with national and international partners to enhance understanding of viral mechanisms.
  • Develop innovative in vitro models to prepare for emerging viral threats.

Offer:

  • Four-year PhD position.
  • Monthly gross salary ranging from €2,901 to €3,707 (salary scale P under the CAO NU).
