Eligibility/Qualification–
Research Associate (RA):
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, with experience in advanced molecular biology techniques.
Desirable: Prior research experience in yeast biology, synthetic biology, metabolic engineering, genome editing, DNA assembly, and/or fermentation technology.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA) POSITION Yeast Synthetic Biology Group
Applications are invited for one Research Associate (RA) position in the Yeast Synthetic Biology Group, in the laboratory of Dr. Naseem Gaur. The position is initially available for one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and achievement of project objectives.
This is a temporary project position, co-terminus with the sanctioned project. Salary/emoluments will be as per applicable DST norms, based on qualifications and experience.
Job Description: The selected candidate will work on yeast synthetic biology and metabolic engineering, including genome engineering/editing, DNA assembly, molecular biology, omics approaches, strain development, and fermentation for the production of industrially relevant high-value compounds.
