Eligibility/Qualification

Must-Haves:

  • Strong research background in materials, 3D printing, and soft robotics.
  • First-author Q1 publications in relevant areas.
  • Expertise in soft ionic materials (e.g., ionogels, eutectogels).
  • Experience with dispersions of conductive particles in polymer matrices.
  • Knowledge of rheology and rheological measurements.
  • Hands-on experience with Direct Ink Writing (DIW) and Volumetric Projection Printing (VPP) techniques.

Preferred:

  • Previous internships or research experience in leading groups globally, focusing on soft robotics, 3D printing, rheology, or the materials science of soft matter.

Job Description

The candidate will carry out innovative research on soft ionic materials, aiming to develop novel 3D-printable materials for soft robotics applications. The position entails working primarily at the PAI Lab in Beer Sheva, Israel, with a collaborative element at Northwestern University for three months.
