Eligibility / Qualification:
- PhD (or equivalent research, industrial, or commercial experience) in computational genomics or a closely related discipline.
- Candidates without an awarded PhD will be appointed as Research Assistants (£43,003 – £46,297 per annum).
- Proven track record in genomics research.
- Willingness and track record to apply for personal postdoctoral fellowships (preferred).
Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration and conceptualization of multimodal genomics data from in-house and external sources.
- Work with datasets from single-cell genomics, population genetics, and chromosome conformation capture assays.
- Develop new computational algorithms as required.
- Engage in collaborative, interdisciplinary research within the Functional Gene Control Group.
- Receive training in technical and biological aspects of the research project.
- Contribute to fellowship applications and future research proposals.
