Eligibility/Qualification

  • A PhD in dentistry, pharmacy, dental public health, epidemiology, or implementation science.
  • Expertise in research methodologies, data analysis, and project management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in research governance, ethics applications, and producing high-quality publications.

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead research on antimicrobial stewardship in dentistry, including:

  • Co-designing, pilot testing, and validating the Dental National Antimicrobial Prescribing Survey (NAPS) tool.
  • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary experts and stakeholders to drive research outcomes.
  • Producing high-quality research outputs (publications, ethics applications, and grant submissions).
  • Supporting and mentoring emerging researchers within the NCAS learning community.
