PhD Position in 2D Materials, Tyndall National Institute, Ireland

Postdoc in Ireland

PhD Position in 2D Materials: The Tyndall National Institute is inviting applications for a fully funded PhD position focused on researching the impact of grain boundaries in large-area grown transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) such as MoS2 and WSe2. The research aims to explore how these grain boundaries affect device performance, particularly in ultra-scaled CMOS technology. This project involves collaboration with industry partner Intel and will provide the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art experimental methods.
