Description
The successful candidate will focus on the pharmacokinetics and biodistribution of phages using clinically relevant mouse models and human cell cultures. The project aims to address the safety concerns and challenges associated with phage therapy, a promising treatment for multi-drug-resistant infections. Candidates will investigate the role of liver scavenger cells in clearing phages from circulation, contributing to the optimization of phage therapy applications in clinical settings. The position also involves mentoring master and bachelor students, utilizing a range of laboratory techniques.
