Eligibility / Qualification:
Essential:
- Ph.D. in Applied/Pure Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Computational Biology, or related disciplines
- Strong programming skills
- Demonstrated research experience (e.g., publications, conference presentations)
- Experience working with biological datasets
- Fluency in English (spoken & written)
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Deep learning frameworks: Transformers, CNNs, Diffusion Models, Neural ODEs/PDEs
- Dynamical systems & data-driven modeling (e.g., SINDy, Koopman)
- Omics data analysis (scRNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, etc.)
- Familiarity with or use of foundation models
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Associate, you will:
- Collaborate on cutting-edge research in computational modeling of gene regulatory networks and tissue morphogenesis
- Develop AI models for understanding and controlling the progression of genetic diseases
- Utilize rich in-house datasets and high-performance computing resources (e.g., NVIDIA DGX H200 clusters)
- Co-design new research directions with the Principal Investigator
- Contribute to cross-disciplinary projects at the intersection of ML, biology, and medicine
