ICGEB Short-term Fellowship: The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) is offering Short-term Fellowships for Postdoctoral studies in its Component laboratories. This opportunity is aimed at facilitating collaborative research between scientists from ICGEB Member States and research groups at ICGEB laboratories located in Trieste, Italy; New Delhi, India; and Cape Town, South Africa. The fellowship aims to enhance access to cutting-edge research techniques and support capacity building in the life sciences field.

Job Description
The selected fellows will engage in collaborative research projects under the supervision of ICGEB Group Leaders/Principal Investigators (PIs). Candidates must contact a PI to discuss their project proposal and secure their support in advance.
Financial Support
- Duration: 1-6 months
- Monthly Stipend:
- Trieste (Italy): €2,300
- New Delhi (India): US$1,749
- Cape Town (South Africa): ZAR 25,000
- Additional Support:
- Travel expenses covered
- Medical health insurance for the fellowship duration
- Visa/permit costs reimbursed
