Eligibility/Qualification

  • Required:
  • Ph.D. in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field (Ph.D. must be awarded no more than four years prior to the effective date of appointment).
  • Expertise in mixed reality (MR) technologies and simulation platforms.
  • Proficiency in machine learning, optimization algorithms, and programming languages (Python, C++, MATLAB, Unity).
  • Strong research record demonstrated by publications and conference presentations.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in autonomous construction systems and off-site manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of data-driven decision-making and sensor-based communication frameworks.

Job Description

  • Conduct research on autonomous construction assembly and logistics optimization.
  • Develop MR-based simulation platforms for training and process enhancement.
  • Apply machine learning techniques for optimizing construction processes.
  • Investigate and improve human-machine interaction frameworks in construction.
  • Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
  • Collaborate with academic and industry partners and mentor students involved in related research projects.
