Eligibility/Qualification
Required:
- Ph.D. in Organometallic or Organic Chemistry (total synthesis, organic material synthesis, synthetic methodologies).
- Experience in organic synthesis during Ph.D. studies.
- Ability to plan and conduct independent research.
- Teamwork skills to collaborate with lab members and Principal Investigator (PI).
Preferred:
- Experience in Organometallic chemistry.
- Strong background in organic synthesis.
- Experience in theoretical chemical calculations.
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will conduct advanced research in organometallic chemistry focusing on:
- Synthesis of organometallic compounds using glovebox and Schlenk line techniques.
- Synthesis of ligands and substrates via organic synthesis.
- Analysis using NMR, SCXRD, GC, GCMS, EPR, etc.
- High-pressure reactions (up to 10 bar) using specialized reactors.
- Electrochemistry and photochemistry of organometallic complexes.
- Theoretical chemical calculations related to the research.
