Postdoctoral Position in Experimental Particle Physics: The Max Planck Institute for Physics is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral position in experimental particle physics within the ATLAS group at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Job Description

  • Lead roles in the development and construction of the muon detectors for ATLAS.
  • Coordinate the commissioning of detectors and electronics.
  • Participate in detector and ASIC developments for future collider upgrades (beyond HL-LHC).
  • Engage in ATLAS data analysis focusing on Higgs boson properties and searches for new physics beyond the Standard Model.
  • Opportunities for teaching at the university level.
