Eligibility/Qualification

- Strong software development skills with knowledge in chemical reaction networks, density functional theory, quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics, or machine learning methods

- Not holding a PhD degree
- EU mobility rules apply (candidates must not have resided or worked in the Netherlands for more than 12 months in the past 36 months)
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Research and develop methods for calculating IR and VCD for chiral molecules on surfaces
- Focus on computational efficiency for vibrational spectroscopic simulations
- Collaborate with characterization teams to compute nanocluster structural and spectroscopic properties
- Engage with experimental and industrial partners to develop computational tools suitable for interdisciplinary research
