🎓 Eligibility / Qualification
- Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry, preferably in Computational Condensed Matter Physics.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming (mandatory).
- Knowledge of many-body quantum mechanics and many-body theory is advantageous.
- Experience with Quantum ESPRESSO or similar computational packages is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Willingness to work collaboratively in an international research environment.
- Ability to supervise students and participate in teaching tasks.

The selected postdoctoral researcher will:
- Conduct computational studies of quantum nuclear effects in solids using high-performance computing resources provided by CSC – IT Center for Science.
- Contribute to the development of in-house program packages for computational modeling.
- Work collaboratively within the Many-Body Theory Group under the Theory Program of the Helsinki Institute of Physics (HIP).
- Participate in research supervision and teaching activities within the department.
- Publish high-quality research and contribute to building a novel branch of solid-state research at Tampere University.
