Scholarship Description
The ERC-funded CHIRAMASS project aims to develop new analytical approaches for chirality measurements by coupling ion mobility-mass spectrometry (IM-MS) with gas-phase ion spectroscopy. The goal is to establish innovative instrumentation and methodologies capable of probing the structure and handedness of molecular ions with unprecedented sensitivity and specificity. The candidate will join the Biophysical and Bioanalytical Mass Spectrometry Laboratory to develop and implement instrumentation combining ion mobility spectrometry, mass spectrometry, laser-based spectroscopy, and advanced ion manipulation methods.
