Postdoctoral Position – Cellular and Molecular Biology/Drug Discovery Focus

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Cellular & Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology
- At least one year of postdoctoral research or equivalent work experience
- Preference for candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong molecular biology skills, including ion exchange and affinity chromatography, ELISA, protein/RNA/DNA extraction, Western blotting, and gel electrophoresis (PAGE, SDS-PAGE, agarose).
- Hands-on experience in molecular cloning techniques: primer design, plasmid extraction, transformation, preparation of competent E. coli, gel extraction, enzymatic digestion, and ligation.
- Experience with biophysical techniques such as Thermal Shift Assay (TSA), Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR), and Circular Dichroism (CD) spectroscopy.
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture, including culturing cell lines, transfection, transduction, flow cytometry, MTT assay, fluorescent and polarized light microscopy.
The position is offered for a minimum duration of one year, with the possibility of extension up to two years. The start date is as soon as possible.
