Eligibility / Qualification:
Essential:
- PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) in Physics or a closely related discipline

Job Description:
The successful candidate will join the INSIGHT experiment team to design, build, and integrate the pixel detector system. Key responsibilities include:
- Development of the mechanical mounting structure and cooling concept for the pixel detector.
- Optimization of detector design based on simulations of photoproduction processes.
- Integration and commissioning of the detector at the experimental site in Bonn.
