Postdoc Position in Protein NMR: The Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center at Aarhus University is seeking a dedicated and skilled postdoc researcher to contribute to a project aimed at tackling multi-drug-resistant fungal infections, specifically focusing on the transcriptional regulator Tac1b in Candida auris.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in structural biology, biophysics, biochemistry, or related fields
  • Extensive experience in solution NMR and wet lab work
  • Proven track record with publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
  • Strong team-oriented skills and independence

Job Description:

This position involves investigating the structure and regulation of Tac1b, a critical transcriptional regulator in Candida auris. The successful applicant will utilize bioNMR techniques to explore the structural basis for Tac1b activation by xenobiotics and transactivation. Responsibilities include:

  • Protein expression and purification
  • Advanced chemical biology applications
  • Collection and analysis of NMR data on protein structure, interactions, and dynamics
  • Opportunities to collaborate with Harvard Medical School and present results at conferences
