Research Area:
The Center for X-ray Analytics focuses on developing X-ray methodologies for understanding structural behavior in materials science, with applications in biomedicine and space.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in Materials Science, Physics, or Chemistry.
- Deep knowledge in X-ray diffraction and scattering methods.
- Additional knowledge in X-ray imaging and microscopy techniques is a bonus.
- Experience in project management and scientific publication writing.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
Job Description:
- Develop new material concepts in the space domain, collaborating with internal and external partners.
- Create characterization strategies based on non-destructive X-ray methodologies: X-ray diffraction, scattering, and imaging.
- Engage actively with scientific collaborators and industrial partners.
- Present scientific results through publications and conferences.
