Eligibility/Qualification
- Required:
- PhD (or foreign equivalent) in Biological Anthropology, Biology, Psychology, or a closely related field by the start of the appointment.
- Preferred:
- Expertise in one or more of the following:
- DNA extraction and sequencing from non-invasively collected fecal samples.
- Extraction and analysis of endocrine and immune biomarkers from non-invasively collected samples.
- Analysis of complex demographic and genomic datasets.
- Experience collecting primate behavioral and demographic data in international field settings.
- Phylogenetic comparative methods.
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Associate will perform the following duties:
- Conduct wet lab and quantitative analyses of endocrine and genomic datasets.
- Compile and analyze comparative datasets on primate aging.
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Present findings at professional meetings.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
- Must possess strong quantitative and verbal communication skills and a solid work ethic.
