Eligibility/Qualification:
- Thesis-based doctorate in chemical engineering (obtained no more than 6 years ago).
- Strong experimental and analytical skills.
- Experience with experimental work and two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC × GC) with various detectors.
- Expertise in chemical recycling processes including pyrolysis and steam cracking.
- Experience with process modeling and simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus).
- Experience in project management and securing research funding.
- Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct innovative research in the area of chemical recycling.
- Provide guidance and supervision to PhD and master’s students.
- Engage in research activities focusing on:
- Impact of plastic waste on pyrolysis processes.
- Advanced pyrolysis technologies.
- Analytical techniques for pyrolysis oils.
- Upgrading pyrolysis oils to high-quality petrochemical feedstocks.
- Actively manage multiple stakeholders and projects, drafting scientific project proposals, and collaborating with industry partners.
- Dedicate at least 70% of the role to scientific research, with additional responsibilities in project management and coordination.
