Eligibility/Qualification
- Education Level: PhD or equivalent in experimental physics
- Languages: Basic proficiency in French
- Research Experience: None required, but experience in soft matter and hydrodynamics preferred
- Publications: At least one publication as first/co-first or second author related to the project’s theme
- Skills: Proven expertise in modelling; strong written and oral communication skills
Job Description
The recruited candidate will:
- Determine the conditions for wrinkle formation during the drying of polymer solutions and propose a mechanism for this formation.
- Participate in the implementation of an experimental device to observe wrinkle formation.
- Conduct experiments and analyze results.
- Develop a model to report on the results.
- Publish one or more articles based on the data collected during the project.
This project is part of the study of the drying of liquid films, conducted at the SVI laboratory, a joint research unit between CNRS and Saint-Gobain.
