Location
This position is located at the Unit of Civil Engineering on the Hervanta campus, Tampere, Finland. The work may be conducted partly remotely.
Eligibility/Qualification
- A Masterโs degree in Information Systems, Construction Management, Knowledge Management, or related fields.
- Experience or a willingness to develop skills in qualitative research methods.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Finnish is beneficial but not required.
- Strong motivation to pursue and complete a doctoral degree.
Description
The selected candidate will work on their dissertation within the AI Champion project, which aims to create Europeโs leading showcase for AI agents in the MEP supply chain, enhancing automation and data flow in the construction industry. The role includes tasks related to design and study of AI control solutions, developing intelligent data flows, and integrating sustainability requirements into AI systems. The ideal candidate should have a proactive attitude and an eagerness to learn about new technologies.
