Description

The PhD project aims to develop closed-loop control architectures using neural interfaces to drive and adapt robotic behavior. It will establish robust organoid-machine interfaces involving neural signal acquisition and real-time decoding. The integration of bioengineered muscle actuators will facilitate the development of advanced biohybrid systems that combine sensing, computation, and movement. This position offers significant opportunities for emerging research in organoid intelligence, adaptive control, and biohybrid robotics.
