Eligibility/Qualification:
Essential Skills:
- PhD in machine learning, data science, genomics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in computational biology tools and data analysis.
- Experience in statistical analysis and coding in at least one programming language.
- Solid English communication skills (written and spoken).
- At least one high-impact first-author publication or preprint.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of biological networks (gene regulation, protein interactions).
- Experience with knowledge graphs/ontologies (e.g., Neo4j, RDF).
- Familiarity with human genetics and functional genomics.
- Interest in Large Language Models and knowledge extraction.
Job Description:
You will act as the Knowledge Graphs in Genomics architect, leading the design and implementation of the Federated Disease Knowledge Graph (FDKG). Responsibilities include:
- Creating a federated knowledge graph system.
- Implementing workflows to integrate new literature findings.
- Developing a module for assessing the “Impact Score” of novel findings based on population genetics.
