Eligibility/Qualification:
- A relevant PhD (or nearing completion) in quantum mechanics, open quantum systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of research methods and techniques relevant to the discipline.
- Strong programming skills for high-performance scientific computing.
- Experience in quantum optimal control and numerical simulation.
Job Description:
- Develop and apply advanced theoretical and computational frameworks to design electromagnetic waveforms.
- Implement and optimize quantum-dynamical simulations and gradient-based optimal control algorithms.
- Perform large-scale GPU/HPC calculations and apply findings to leading quantum-biological hypotheses.
- Communicate research progress and outcomes effectively, maintaining documentation and preparing proposals.
- Work independently on complex interdisciplinary research problems within the established research programme.
